When I was a kid I stayed up late to watch the great Patrick Moore talk passionately about the universe, yours is a similar classical style of communication of complex subjects I have not seen for such a long time in the main stream media. I wish you ever success for your channel.

I want to thank Anton and similar quality Youtube channels for their excellent coverage of science news like this. Something that happened this week, made me realize sharply that we shouldn't take this for granted.

I'm still subscribed to a printed newspaper, a smaller local one. It shows that they have a small staff, but in general WHAT they cover, they do pretty well most of the time. By accident, on thursday we received a copy of ANOTHER newspaper in the mail. It happened to be the mainstream newspaper with the largest readership. I used to read it regularly until 15 years ago or so. So my eye fell onto the "science" article covering this subject.

It was UNBELIEVABLY bad. I mean, I fully expected the article for a mainstream public to brush over things very broadly, to get terminology wrong or sensationalize somewhat, to not spend time on providing context etc. But it was SHOCKINGLY clickbait-level, to the point of reading like a parody of that sort of article. It managed to get EVERY aspect of the scientific mindset and process WRONG to such degree, that it almost looked like someone started with an article the way it SHOULD be done (like YOU did), and then give everything the exact OPPOSITE vibe.

It suddenly occurred to me, that with channels like yours, and a number of excellent science and (the right kind of) skepticism bloggers, I have been living in a bubble, totally unaware of GARBAGE that 95% of the public is being fed.
