“You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”
Who you spend your time with and who you allow to speak into your life is a big factor in the direction that your life is going. The Bible is full of wisdom on the dynamics of Godly friendships. 🤯 So how do you know you’ve found a real friendship?
-They are driving you to become better! (Proverbs 17:17)
-Their advice is always for your best. They are pointing you back to your true identity in Christ. Your pleased to have their counsel. (Proverbs 27:9)
-They build you up in the Word. (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
-They aren’t withholding any kindness from you. (Job 6:14)
-They will openly correct you in your life, from a place love. Though it may sting in the moment, their advice is always for your good. (Proverbs 27:6)
