You have NO idea how helpful this was. To a newbie ... this was a master class. Thank you.

Great walkthrough, EXCEPT for your definition of the SOLO function on each channel! Selecting "PFL Solo" on a channel allows you (i.e. the person running the mixer) to hear just that channel (or channels if you solo more than one) through the headphones and/or the control room outputs. It does NOT solo a channel in the MAIN output mix. It's primarily a tool for the sound engineer to listen to and adjust individual channels without having to turn everything else down. For example, if a band is playing and you want to adjust the EQ on the lead singer's mic, you can put on headphones, solo that channel, and then listen to them without the rest of the mix and make your adjustments without having to adjust the levels of any other channels. It's a very helpful tool, but definitely not used for muting all the other channels in the main output. I just wanted to clarify in case that was confusing for anyone. Thanks!

I just received this from Sweetwater, i'm afraid its a bit over my head, feeling quite intimidated actually. I went from an 8 channel mackie to this, and the only reason was because theres not a lot to choose from with the supply chain woes..

How can I hear the post fader mix on my headset? I can control sound levels with the faders, but can't hear this mix in y headphones. It all comes in PFL to headphones but outputs the right mix, I just can't hear it.

Hi! I'm a Twitch partner streamer and have been loving this mixer for live-streaming. I just upgraded from the ProFx10v3 to this one, the ProFx12v3. Only major issue I have that I can't seem to figure out - which btw was not an issue on the 10v3 - is how to get my desktop audio into my headphones without the rest of my audio suddenly sounding whack.
When I press the "to phones/control rm" button my desktop audio instantly comes in but it also affects all my other open audio channels, making them sound louder. I'm a violinist, so I run my violin with my DPA mic through channel 1, have some nice reverb (from the mixer) on it. As soon as I click that "to phones.." etc button, it adds raw dry audio to it - not on my live stream, but in my headphones and even the blend switch or anything else I tried can fix it. I'm trying to find a way to have my great violin audio but also get the desktop audio in my headphones.

Hopefully I explained it well enough:) Thanks for your time!

If you buy this for live band use you better buy an eq, or else it will be feedback city. Especially on monitors.

I’ve asked on another video but saw this.
Thanks for the video. I’ve had the Pro FX12 for years and just got the Pro FX22v3. What I didn’t realize was that there’s no graphic equalizer sliders on the v3. I’m used to that on the old version and wondering if there’s no need or if I should tie in an equalizer. Old school here and like to really tune my live sound. Thanks!

@expertisland @MaranoArauz Great video, tnx. I didn't buy it already but I plan to. A question; how do you exactlly use an inear-monitor with mixing a few other inputchannels? And is it then possible to use a groundmonitor extra with also possibility to make a seperate mix? Tnx
