Mackie Thump 15A Sound Test

(NO ONE WAS PAID FOR THIS VIDEO)
The H4n Pro recorder was placed at 4 meters away from the speakers.
I EQ-ed the room with ponk noise & Superlux ECM-999 measure mic.... X32C built-in RTA+ GEQ effect as insert in Main L/R.

The input track itself was NOT EQ-ed.
The audio interface connected to my laptop was a Behringer U-Control (RCA)
the playback sample rate was set to 48K-16bit

H4n Pro recording format: 48K/16bit Wave

Speaker settings (Same on both speakers):
Gain knob:10 o'clock
Output knob: Center 12 o'clock(Natural)
DSP: Live

Personal thoughts on the Thump 15A:

I own those speakers for more than 6 months, and I'm quite happy with the sound quality for its price.

I usually use 4 thump 15a to cover indoor speech gig within 250 people.
If it's ceremonial, the setup will be 4 thump 15a+2 SRM 1850 subs.

I have a pair of these speakers they sounded great! I had it for 5 years now and they still kicking hard. Love my Mackies!!!!

planning to go with the thump 215XT. want a good bass as i dont use sub. i do DJ for small family parties. what you think about the mackie sound quality, bass and loudness?

650 rms..very good..sound ok..average from 1 to more clarity on highs and mids...very portable ..😃

Hello great video👍. ? Do they get hot after 4 hrs continuous use. I'm in hot Florida. I use.to DJ with passive speakers and external ampd. Never had an issue with get hot. I have the alto ts old models built in fan. Trying to upgrade. I know evs overall for price are the best. But I can't afford $499 X2. So it's between Mackie's and Altos ts3 series. What's your opinion. Thanks 👍

I love the sound of my two thumps 15A. However, if only switched on, with all volumes at the minimum and no other cables connected yet, they make a quite loud hissing noise / white noise. Is that normal or to be solved somehow? If you play music of course you don't hear it anymore
