Hi there. So I just saw your Video. Liked Subcribed, awesome. I just want to clear something up. I'm not going to name the company I purchased a new Washer/Dryer from, but anyways they came to install. They said that I did not have a Dryer Duct Connector. In watching your video, you don't either...My question is, did these delivery people just not want to do their job? I bought the ring AND everything that they said to purchase for Installation. Thank you so much for your video and possible feedback.

That dryer vent looks so droopy :/ I kinda wanna strap it with hvac strap just to avoid the potential build up

Looks like a deadly situation. You should probably never use that crappy paper or vinyl venting.
A. It traps lint
B. It is flammable
C. All metal venting is still cheap enough to play it safe

Thanks a lot dough bag. Are you planning to leave your dryer approximately 2 feet away from the wall? Most "laundry rooms" don't have that kind of excess room. Thanks captain obvious.

Use heavy metal vent for gas dryers not this regular one

Screw the paint and drywall behind the washer and dryer. No one will ever notice there’s no baseboard and the paint and woodwork looks like a two year old did it!

Sorry folks, this is not the greatest recommendation. Shouldn't even use that type of hose. There is a sticker on the back of every dryer made that says do not use plastic or thin foil hose. That hose is both. BUT, even if you're going to use that garbage, stretch the hose out completely and then cut it to the shortest piece possible that will work for you. Leaving those bunched up sections are a MASSIVE flow restriction.

STOP telling people to use a "flexible foil" air duct for dryer venting. That is to be used for kitchen and bathroom exhaust fans. Flexible foil is against fire code and can burn as it is a combustible tube made of paper and foil. The dryer vent pipe must be comprised of a hard metal or semi-rigid metal such as sheet metal or aluminum.
