That cage around the dryer vent cover. Is illegal in a lot of states. Because the dryer lint get stuck and can cause a house fire. When I come across them. I cut them off. Most customers don’t know that. Is a dryer fire happens and your insurance company comes out. Then the homeowners warranty becomes void.

Unfortunately this gentleman does not know what he's doing. The venting is correct the screen you put inside is incorrect and dangerous and is considered a fire starter. I hope he correct his mistakes and gets the proper training he needs
