I am so sorry you have to deal with that! I had to wear a leg brace/ use the disabled carts for an injury, and it opened my eyes to how bad things are for so many. Those carts were broken down, falling apart or just painful to sit in, and usually, there were not enough. It is truly terrible how they've decided to make it harder, when instead they should be aimed toward ease and maintaining aids for all the people who need them.

That is just sick. I am currently on medical insurance. When I went to get my hearing test last month. If someone is on that insurance and the person giving the hearing test. Then the patient goes to an ENT then patient goes back to the hearing aid doctor that will then take care cof getting the hearing aids.

Have you tried using an epoxy or flexible foam on it to adhere the toes to the metatarsal ? Just asking?

I honestly think it would be cheaper to see your PCP out of pocket at this point 😅 genuinely sometimes medical costs are cheaper without insurance.

Just talk to a special effects artist they can do some nice patch work on it and fix it with the same material for a few hundred bucks... I would do it but I'm in a different state..

I know insurance companies su##
But I will be going through this soon, and u complain alot about ur prosthetic, witch in turn causes me alot of stress. Then the one day I see u skip over a crack in the sidewalk with ease. I would like to see more of the happy times. I can barely walk because of my injury and I'm dealing with severe pain every day. And the surgery is definite.
All I'm asking is start showing how much easier it has made ur life.
