This has to be the most confusing game. Every time I log in I am in a different cut scene and on a new mission. I am rank 5 and have no idea how I got to that point.

You are a lifesaver. I have over 70 hours in this game and yet have zero idea what i am doing. I have played super causally on and off since release and i am always in some random quest or cutscene. Idk what i was doing

You will never have a problem picking up on any new game you try if you learn to understand gaming fundamentals. These include soft and hard power caps, disassembly and crafting, hyper armor, hit boxes and I frames, layered armors, perk compatibility, inventory management and drop rates. Those are just a few to mention.
As for Destiny storyline, by the time you reach 100 hrs of gameplay it all comes together. The next missions filled in the gaps left by the previous missions.

Im going to be honest I love the fact that this game has soooo much stuff to do I just started because i got the legacy collection from epic games but I did play it back during forsaken times and got that character linked so I can play them but because of so much stuff to do and a lot of exotics and gear to go after gives me a yon to work towards and on so ill have alot of stuff to learn ovet the nect years time
