BUILDING A 10 SECOND NISSAN GTR IN 7 DAYS

Показать описание

I bought a wrecked Nissan GTR & rebuilt it now im attempting to make it into a 10 second car. Some of the fastest cars in the world struggle to pass a quarter mile under 11 seconds so im going to have to do alot of modifications to get the GTR even close.

Thanks to Bob at the Machine shop

Thanks to Litchfield for all the upgrades

I'm convinced these guys are the hardest working auto channel on YouTube. Incredible progress and updates every video, and no clickbait. Truly worth of all the success that's been garnered. Keep it up guys!!!

1:50 "Oh you're having a laugh?!" Probably the best response to every engine-out procedure 😆

Said it before and said it again...Mat's Dad is so awesome! Love the way he just laughs when there is a massive problem/challenge ahead!

1 Hour video made out of 7 days of work. Well done. That is why we watch you Mat. You put out good quality videos not like other people who would put out multiple short videos. Keep up the good vids :)

The smile on his dad’s face every time the camera pans to him is absolutely AWSOME. It’s dope to see a son an father working together and clearly enjoying the hell out of it

I’m only 17 mins in and sold on the rest of the video. Love how you’re breaking down the mechanicals with video to help people that don’t know what they’re doing understand better.

It’s a really good format, I’d happily share this with my 11 year old.

Hi Mat, it's the fourth anniversary of my fathers passing, he was a mechanic working on cars all day. Unfortunately by the time I was old enough to learn from him he chose alcohol instead of work and family so I couldn't learn anything. I just want to quick thank you for showing me a conception of how it would have been working together as father and son on cars.

Thé thing about Matt’s videos is that they are carefully crafted films by a great storyteller with great characters. That is why they are so successful. Best regards

Building in 7 days but made it into one whole video unlike like some "ambassadors" making like 10 videos for a 2 days build. This is why people love Mat's channel.

Ever since the end of Top Gear (the REAL Top Gear I mean) and Grand Tour, there has been Mat around to fill that space we all need. Big shoes, but he's filling 'em!

Nissan GT-R is my dream car and the fact you bought it, repaired, and modified is insane, you can do anything you set your mind to keep it up😄

what you had on your stock induction system is a recirculation valve, which means when you let off the throttle to shift for example, the lost pressure is sent back into the system to eliminate lag going into the next gear, this new setup uses a "atmosphere" blowoff valve, which just dump pressure out of the system, it can create a bit more lag between gears, but with bigger turbos and hopefully a tune you shoudnt feel any difference ! same principle for wastegates (exhaust side) most smaller turbos have internal wastegate, whereas bigger turbos will only have an external wastegate ports . you can control boost with wastegates, and also have to make the blowoff valve spring suit the setup .
