1978 I'm driving to work at 3 a.m. This Vette smokes around me to a red light, revving his engine showing off. A street legal highly modified Charger with wheelie bars pulls up next to the Vette, both lurching their clutches. Green light. Charger rises up and obliterates that Vette like I've never seen. 43 years later, I'll never forget the sight, sound and smell of that moment.
