👋 Everyone thinks it costs a fortune to modify an R35 Nissan GTR! Everyone tells me its expensive to make power and modify the GTR. I'm here to tell you thats all false! On a $5,000 budget you can modify an R35 Nissan GTR and make some stupid power and turn the GT-R into Godzilla! $5k goes a long way in power modifications to make about 700 HP in these cars. To be honest that is plenty of power to push in a GTR and makes these ridiculously fast and a blast to drive! Start off with a Cobb AccessPort for all your tuning. I love the ease of the Cobb since you can do it all at home. No need to spend money on custom dyno tuning for each stage of mods. Even running the off the shelf maps for Stage 1 and Stage 2 are great! Depending on the company you buy the AP from, or what shop you buy most of your parts from, most of the time you can get a free remote tune with data logging sessions. Add some 3in air intakes and a midpipe with the Stage 2 tune and your GTR will rip! Then get some downpipes and upgrade the fuel system with high flow pumps and fuel injectors and get that stage 3 tune dialed in! For a tad above that $5k budget ad a flex fuel kit and really wake up the car! Overall the Nissan GTR craves upgrade and these mods for $5k are more then enough to make the car amazing in every way and push a ton of reliable power! In this video, we're going to show you how to modify your R35 Nissan GTR for $5,000 and make stupid power! If you're looking for ways to make your Nissan GTR faster and more powerful, then this is the video for you! By modifying your R35 GTR, you can take your car to the next level! We'll show you step by step how to make this modification, and by the end of the video, you'll be able to make your GTR run like a demon!

This is the best GTR video I’ve ever seen. Years of research in twelve minutes. If I ever get my hands on one, I’ll have my $5000 ready.

I followed what you said and you are right 600hp to the wheel and my GTR is crazy fast. I gap all hellcats and corvettes with these bolt ons.

GTR is timeless. How can a car fit in to each year from 2007? No other car has done this right?

I don't know why I am listening to this as I am 11 years old and I don't have the car or the money.

i wouldnt use the Cobb Accessport anymore since they went emission complaint this year and you cant tune for catless exhaust anymore, the move now is using Ecutek which is pretty much the same but actually better when it comes to tuning, the kit its about $1000 then depeding on the tuner it can go from 500-700 for a custom FBO E85 map, in a few months im going to switch from cobb to ecutek since i need to revise my cobb map and i cant with the new laws

As you might remember my GT-R is 750+ on 93 and 825 WHP on 72% ethanol. I did change my 4" mid pipe and Greddy TI exhaust for a 3.5" mid pipe and a HKS LegalMax to get rid of my horrid drone. Sounds better and I can hear my radio now. Still making the same power which was surprising. It's getting a new tune and hopefully a backup camera over the winter. It's already got a larger AMS intercooler, 3" AMS intakes, injectors, turbos, flex fuel, Speed density conversion, TiAl blow off valves, and EcuTek tune.

My AWD Q50 Red Sport seems to be running OK, but I hope to trade it in on a 2023 GR Carolla Circuit Edition. I put a deposit on it, and if the dealership gets one, I'll be all set with a 300 HP AWD 6 speed standard transmission rally car. It will be an absolute blast on the VT dirt roads. That, my GT-R, and I'll be all set.

Thanks for continuing to make your GT-R content videos. The car you should keep. I chose to stop at the point where I would need to build both my motor and transmission. I'm TQ limited at around 650ish ft lbs. Going to 1100 or 1400 WHP will cost big $ with not much between the two as both need the motor and tranny rebuilt. For the few minutes I'd use the extra power a year, it's not worth it to me.

First it is expensive to mod the gtr! Not cheap unless you use cheap parts which I highly suggest against. Significantly higher than domestics. Second Ecutek is better than Cobb and easier to use.

It costed me $5800 just for the parts alone, not including installation and tuning.

All these tune talks are meaningless unless you mention the boost increase and dyno power graphs for each tune. Intake and exhaust upgrades are no brainer.

What do use for your recordings inside the car? iPhone, GoPro?

Do you have the supplier & part details for the high flow pumps, fuel injectors & flex fuel kit please?

I honestly had zero idea how a flex fuel system worked. I didn't realize it was that simple. My smooth chimp brain always thought it was installing an entirely separate fuel system into the car. Had no idea it was, plug in few sensors and then just run whatever fuel lol.

e85 is fine for modern day cars. It's will not destroy plastics, but you do lose the lubrication effect of gasoline.

I'm in the fight with myself between this GTR, a 13-14 GT500, or a GT350! Lol with the mod list of this it is really not that bad i was thinking way more to upgrade! Good video! And Merry Christmas as well!
