I just bought the 2021 Essence model yesterday black on black with panoramic roof. The interior along with its tech and safety features are off the hook. This car is beautiful and rides so comfortable and quiet. I traded a 2013 Ford Escape Titanium which my wife absolutely loved but didn’t feel the same about the 2020-21 model so we went elsewhere and so glad we did. Plus the Escape cost more with equal equipment. This car is the deal of the year.

GREAT review - I just bought a Satin Steel / Black Avenir with all options, except AWD. It has a much better ride than the 2017 Cadillac CT6 I sold. The infotainment system is MUCH easier to understand for my 68 year-old brain, too. I've only put a few miles on it, but so far, I'm much happier with this car. ( I had an Enclave before the CT6 that I liked too, but I decided this time I didn't need a car that large, since I'm the only one in it. ( that five year-old CT6 had 3, 600 miles on it - I don't "go" much !!! ) I just had the driver's and passenger's side windows tinted to match the others ( a little lighter to be "legal", but much better ) I couldn't find one I liked locally, so I called a dealer on a Saturday morning to ask about the one they had just gotten it . . and by 7 PM that evening it was delivered to my home, TWO HUNDRED miles away - for once, a great experience buying a new car ( I've had some BAD ones )

15 years of manual driving and 2 generations with Honda, I finally trade my car in for a Buick Envision Avenir. I'm in my mid 30's with a growing family. I was looking for something safe, reliable and affordable. This checked all thoes boxes, plus its very stylish and comfortable. So far, I'm happy with my Buick.

I just ordered the 2022 model, best looking suv out there period.I just picked up my car and let me tell you this suv is well built.And it rides great.I traded my 2016 GM Sierra for this, I’m telling you I don’t miss my truck at all.

I’ve had mine for a couple of months now and I love it. It steers wonderfully, it has more elbow room inside, it has the button to turn off the start/stop, shifting takes a little time to get used to since it’s now a nine speed. It is very nice looking inside and out, yes a beautiful design. I especially love the infotainment system and the dash facing me as a driver. The mirrored rear view mirror is another “get used to” a little at a time. The camera has wonderful resolution.

I just picked up this car for the wife. Buick really outdid themselves on this one, the rear view camera was a bit weird getting use to it at first.

Drove this car. very impressed. Back seat has less room for a person over 6 foot and long legs. 20% better than the older vision in comfort and design

Initially, I’m very impressed with what I see. I’m waiting for the mid-cycle refresh and hope to see the addition of fog lights, power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and mirror fold. Perhaps some tweaks to the suspension. Say good bye to Rich Garnet for 2023 🙁. Thanks for the entertaining review.

This is a great value. We almost bought this car given Buick had $3500 in incentives. It’s made in China and should have a super reliability rating. However, it was just a bit too big to fit in my garage with my other car in there. We ended up getting a 2021Mercedes GLA 4Matic.

My husband is giving our 2018 Envision to our son and today he went out and bought the Envision Essence before they're all gone. He bought the Steel Grey Metallic color. From your video I'm questioning in the front passenger seat aren't isn't there a glove box and air vents? I hope he's got enough leg in room in the driver's seat because he's 6'2".

Did you hear any buzzing sound from the onstart control panel when the engine is on? I tested drive a few of them and they both had that sound, including the one I bought, lol. Other than that, it was perfect. I bought the exact trim in the video.

Nice video, but there's one thing all you reviewers seem to miss. Inside and outside lighting at night. Welcome lights, ambient lighting, etc. You are in a good position to capture this since your videos are mainly shot indoors and consumers don't get to experience it until after a sale. Just my 2 cents. ;)

I LOVE the colour, which is Rich Garnet Metallic btw, you should have shown it in sunlight, its stunning. I just bought one. You nitpick about little things that don't mean squat to someone else, they are simply personal opinion (like your preference in head rest position for example). Maybe less of that, since it isn't relevant to most ppl, and more about the actual features of the vehicle, you skipped over a lot of the best ones! I swore I'd never buy GM again after several craptastic Chev models over the years but this Avenir won me over, hands down. Just waiting for it to arrive. Its built to be beautiful and comfortable, not a race car, its not fair to compare it to highend powerhouses. If thats your thing, go drop 80 grand on one, but for 50G, this Buick is well worth the money.

Also, you mentioned being 5'8. I suspect the reason you have to reach to hit the controls on the steering wheel is because you probably have small hands (not an insult, ex was same height, same issue). I had no problem reaching the controls and it felt comfortable to me, same with my tall hubby who has long fingers, so it's not the car.

I have a 2022 Envision with the ST package. This is my second Buick and I absolutely love it! My Envision is finished in the Sating Steel Metallic. As you pointed out, that color really accentuates those swoops body lines.

Probably XT4 in sport trim but this Envision is a real head turner - love the interior too - a sport version will be coming soon no doubt - I like your videos good job

Buick did their homework on this model. They also make less expensive versions although I'm not convinced that there aren't other compelling alternatives at that price.
