I'm in East Tennessee. Got a huge torrent of rain and wind that uprooted a giant birch tree in my yard. My dad came and we chain sawed on friday from 2pm to 8pm. The weather was gorgeous once the rain passed. I was so exhausted by 8pm that I went right to bed. Saturday morning I awoke to learn that while I was working in my yard, 15 minutes from me, the Nolichucky river was swelling to a mile wide, bulldozing everything in its path, homes, infrastructure, human beings and animals. The place that manufactures uranium for US military is located here, runs 24/7, never closes. It is flooded and has been closed since the flood! I still have friends I don't even know if they are ok or alive bc all the bridges are GONE. When the winds swept through, I lost phone service so I wasn't getting any information warning of the travesty unfolding. It's just the most devastating thing I've ever witnessed here, just unspeakably bad, reverberating in shockwaves of revelation after revelation of just how bad as the dust settles. I’m from Venice Florida. My family lost our home and everything we own. Over 5 feet of water rushed through our home. Although I am still somewhat in shock I thank God everyday that we have our lives I’ve lived in Florida over 30 years and have lived through many hurricanes. this hurricane was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. If weather manipulation is real then this odd storm was intentional. I believe there’s a small town in NC that has a large amount of lithium that some would like to get their hands on. Just a thought.
