Video taken 28th January. The rain was turning to snow and it was forcast to freeze. Farouk hates mud on his hooves but all over him, no problem. There's not like a good roll in a lot of wet mud. A Day in The Life of Our Horses.

I must have miss this one. Farouk’s saying “But mum I wet as it is, I don’t need another shower 🚿 .” 🥰
Both Apollo & Farouk looked 👀 very soggy coming out of the van & nice dry in their stables.🥰

I love how Apollo lifts his feet for you. Such a good boy. And Farouk, he's like that bad little brother. Lovable but always into something.

I love Farouk’s eyes. Apollo’s beautiful, and well trained, but I like mischievous Farouk best. He keeps you guessing.

That lovely young man comes from Friesland, he knows all about the cold and the snow. I’m not dead certain that they put lovely
warm rugs on him I bet he is really glad of the and you. Jane

I love how you've carefully chosen everything from the truck to the rugs to all the other details. It's very educational too.

Hello, a bit of a wet day today..I just love Apollo he is such a good Boy, lifting up his feet so that you can clean his hooves..such a Gentleman. I love Farouk too, isn't it funny how he won't walk in the mud but he will roll in it..he is such a character. Hope the weather fines up for you and the Boys..💚💙💜

Farouk reminds me of my Arabian, he was mr. personality....the mischievous little brother, but always a joy to spend my days with. I miss that. Thank you for sharing your rides with us...I always wondered what it would be like to ride the English countryside 🐎

mucky boys, but imagine how much more mucky they would be without the rugs. Thanks for sharing and keep warm.

Washing off the rug’s mud was also an excellent chance for him to learn the noise and feel of the water wasn’t going to hurt him!

Your horses are so obedient. I know it's work taking care of a horse but I love it. You do well with your horses.

What a good and patient boy, Apollo. Farouk is a fidgety fellow ... both are gorgeous. Hope you got out of the weather to a nice hot cup of tea after all of this.

Wow Apollo and Farouk are such good boys lifting their feet even before you go to pick up their feet yourself . I wish our Maximus would do that he is terrible with back feet .xx

I live in the green but rainy state of Washington on the West coast of USA. I CANNOT COUNT THE YEARS I SPENT WITH SQUEEGEE AND HAIRDRYER to prevent putting my wet thoroughbred eventer in an unseated stall. I don’t have a horse now but your diligence brings all of that back. Thank you; perversely I enjoyed this post while remembering my whining when my horse had rolled in a muddy spot in a field. Hey, I’m whining again, old dogs, reliving... thank you
