Great video. I have added No Way Down to my TBR. I might add a couple of the others, too. You make them sound so intriguing.

I really liked Digging to America. It was my first Anne Tyler. Keep in mind that On Beauty is a modern retelling of Howard's End. Happy reading!

My Year of Meats is one of my favourite books so far this year! I read it about 6 months ago and I'm still thinking about the characters!

I'm interested in Digging to America and My Year of Meats. I'm in South Korea now and I really enjoy certain aspects of Asian culture and it would be cool to see how these novels touch on that :) Happy reading!

I'd say you should definitely read the Zadie Smith nook after reading the one that you really want to read first lol

I wd have said read No way Down first anyway.
K2 has aready had commercial climbers. Yup, K2 is open for amateur climbers & some business will facilitate that, for a price. The price may include these people's lives. K2 is nassty. Wanna do a first? Climb it in winter.
There's lots of mountaineering books. How well written or gripping the tales are is another question. First ascents of famous mountains are often interesting: Everest, K2, Annapurna, Nanga Parbat, even the Matterhorn in the 19thC.
How wuz VT this summer?

Great video? Where is the Book Outlet store? Is it the place near St. Catherine's, or is that the warehouse?
