I pre-ordered Half Arse Human as well and I'm one chapter in. The Cazalets mini series is a cozy comfort watch. I'm sure you'll enjoy it and rewatch it when you want to feel cozy.

Loved this! The Colour Purple is actually part of a series, which I didn't know until last year. I read Possessing the secret of Joy which was amazing, but very heavy subject matter and follows some characters from TCP.
Currently reading The Safekeep and loving it, I think you might as well so would definitely recommend.

I celebrate Hannukkah I got three books and two on the way (I don't know what they are at all.) I have Mrs Miniver by Jan Struther, And Furthermore by Judie Dench and Helen of Troy by Bettany Hughes. I can't wait to read all of them. Happy New Year to you and David.

I was bought Sweet Sorrow for Christmas and will dive in soon

Got gifted my first book in years. It was Happy Place by Emily Henry and I read it in 1 day. Really enjoyed it and was surprised as my expectations were low. No offence to her 😅
