The Calamity Mod Mount NOBODY knows about

The Gaze of Crysthamyr is one of the most forgotten mounts in Calamity Mod. I'm assuming it's because mounts aren't used commonly but this one sure looks good! It's been in the game since 2019 and very few people have talked about it so I decided to make a video on it :D

We host events quite often, you can even join a Terraria playthrough public server when it's open!

The Calamity Mod is a large content mod for Terraria which adds many hours of endgame content and dozens of enemies and bosses dispersed throughout the vanilla game's progression. The Calamity Mod also features several harder difficulty modes, five new biomes and new structures, a new class, a new leveling mechanic, more than forty new songs, over fifty recipes for previously uncraftable vanilla items and other assorted changes to vanilla gameplay.

I would imagine it's mostly due to the fact that you can get the princess in a bottle/alicorn mount by killing DOG with Fabsol's vodka active, which is a really fast flyer for less work

When looking through the wiki on my first ever Calamity playthrough I came across this item and pursued it. It ended up being my final mount for my character all the way past Supreme Calamitas.

I actually know this item from my experiance and its really cool and by cool i mean the look and the use of it. Very cool that some people know about it (but the grind for it is hard thats true)

As soon as I saw that the dragon egg was a material, I threw it into recipe browser and was informed of being able to craft a goddamn shadow dragon mount. Me, having read Solo Leveling at the time, absolutely freaked out and sought to obtain it at all costs. And I did, I was so blown away at how amazingly sprited and agile it was.

fun fact: I actually knew about this a long time ago when I used this as a supplement as an accesory in thorium mod that was a purple orb (I think) to move around the world in creative modes

I actually made it the very first calamity playthrough I did with my friend, I discovered it while looking through what you could craft with the Darksun Fragments. It is indeed very cool

I used to compete with my friends to see who could get this mount first. It seems like the grind has been changed somewhat though in a different direction - less esoteric
