2:11 Fun fact, the Soma Prime was at one point renamed to "THIS WEAPON IS A REFERENCE TO WARFRAME OH MAH GAWD", making it the longest name for a period of time before it was changed to "Gun" and then back to "Soma Prime" in later updates.

Some tips from a Calamity lore nerd: Xeroc isn't close to being omnipotent, nor did he create the universe, nor is he dead. Currently, he is searching for Noxus, which was created by Cthulhu and the Moon Lord to reset the genocide that Xeroc committed on the Dark Gods. (Note that most of this is non-canon by now, but it's the most recent lore on Xeroc that we have). Additionally, the Xeroc sprite is fanmade, and fighting him will not require your soul. It only requires that you beat the Boss Rush.

Just thought I'd clear up some misinformation in the video:
- The Xeroc lore and image in the video are FANMADE. Xeroc's official design is currently not public, and he wasn't killed by anyone (he did the killing)
- The 30 million registered wiki editors thing is for the wiki site as a whole, and not just Calamity (the stat for Calamity isn't documented)
- Technically the opposite happened for Vehemence/Vehemenc. Old ones are Vehemence, while new ones are Vehemenc (this only applies in the code).
- Nitpick but Skullmasher and a few other Borderlands references got removed, so the count there is outdated (not that it matters much, it still has the most refs)

Hmm, iirc Xeroc absolutely destroyed Chtulhu (that's where crimson biome is from) and cut Moon Lord in half, and Noxus is creation created by Cthulhu and Moon Lord as a last attempt to annoy Xeroc. I think Xeroc massacred the entire nation of dark gods for Xeroc is a union of all Light gods which completely overpowered them. But all of that info is gonna turn useless because the lore is being rewritten lmao

I absolutely want a video about Calamity references. So you'll have to acknowledge all the pony references.

Xeroc isn't dead
Xeroc is the fusion of all the light gods into a being so stupidly insanely bs powerful that even though he isn't omnipotent he might as well be
He absolutely butchered the dark gods, with the only survivor being cthulhu depending on whether or not you count the crimson existing as him surviving and the heavily crippled moon lord
Noxus is essentially an egg created from the corpses of the dark gods that will eventually turn into a universe-destroying creature, Xeroc is trying to find and destroy it
Pretty sure the information you said is from the Calamity roleplay Total Calamity

dark souls, subnautica and destiny references are also in the game: gaels greatsword from dark souls, the eidolon wyrm is inspiried by the leviathan from subnautica and "the pack" which is the gjallarhorn from destiny

btw GitgudWO, about the mod reference having 2 swords in calamity which was exxo avalon, Blah is actually making it into Tmodloader, its still on beta if your in Blah's server but its playable, also there will be unique ai that will come in the new version of it, also blah will only release it in 1.4 build since its around the corner for the new tmodloader update

Honestly, considering that they take plenty lines from Metal Gear Rising and make them into either messages or flavor text.
The Devourer of Universes used to have a line that read: "DOES IT HURT?" which played when (I think) the player got hit by his head.
And it is VERY possible that it's a Monsoon reference.
