Didn't work, applications open on the same window independent of which one I dedicate as "main" and the changing the designated position of either had no effect other than making the mouse unable to pass between screens from left to right. Hope you have some other solutions.

It's supposed to open, but it does not.
I have multiple display: one I use to watch videos while I surf the web. Every time I open a link from my email, it opens on the monitor I am watching the video

how do I change the settings so that my second external non laptop screen is independent? as in I can open up a different browser on the the second screen only? It seems impossible to find videos that explain this.

yeah i dunno whats up with mine but when i open chrome from my main display, it pops up on my second monitor.
