Another awesome video...Why did you go and get your Marlin copy from the Marlin github instead of the BTT github like you did with the SKR 1.3? Are both the repositories updated the same? Are the versions of Marlin that you can get on the BTT github already partially configured for the 1.3 and 1.4?

How would you enable BLTouch with this setup? I keep reading things about it being busted and I've already killed several boards by accident trying to get my SKR1.4Turbo/TMC2209v1.2... So I'm at a loss and it's starting to kill me... It's all so complicated... I just wanted to fix my printer, but I everywhere I go I run into issues with this stuff.. :( The company that sold my original printer doesn't exist anymore so I can't go to them and ask now... I really need help..

Great info in your vid. I was trying to understand the real benefit of setting native steps to 64 vs 16 since TMC2209 will interpolate to 256 and if native 64 is a real gain why not going all the way up to 256 native ? is torque the problem ? please try to clarify this if possible, thank you for effort.

Is there firmware to drive a CNC router for this board. I will use external stepper drives. Thank you for any help you can provide

i am looking forward to update my printer .. I have a DIY printer and I use ramps1.4 currently .. You had the credit for your detailed lessons on dealing with ramps1.4 for the success of my printer and it was an entry only for me but I was confused. Which version should I adopt from skr board ... You can advise me of your personal opinion because it matters to me very much and it is a source of confidence for me ... I do not have experience dealing with this board, I rely on your videos and explain it to you, so what do you think? Thank you very much.

Hi, thanks for the amazing video. I looked around and seems to be a shortage of TMC2209. But the few I saw, some are v1.2 others v3.0. Some are branded Bigtreetech other are Biqu or other brands. Which I can consider reliable? On a stock printer, like my CR10s, you suggest to change the stepper motors or I can keep them?
Thank you

I am guessing the install is very similar to the MKS SGEN L? Thanks for another detailed guide!

Great video, I am running into the issue that my x axis only goes one (positive) direction. SKR 1.4 turbo with btt 2209 v1.2. with bltouch (assuming here is an issue?)
Testing X connection... OK
Testing Y connection... OK
Testing Z connection... OK
Testing E connection... OK

working in this since 3 days, I have no clue.

in my marlin screen appears "tmc connection error" do you know what that means? it's a 1.4 skr turbo with tmc 2209 1.2 drivers
