My heals are sooo bad. Worse than the pictures. I had hoped I could just fix it myself, but this video has helped me to finally realize I need to see a foot doc about it.

I have no callous, because I got a pedicure and they removed the hard skin but there’s a small hole that seems hallow and it hurts to stand on.

Use sandpaper on the dry skin until it's gone. Then put duct tape over the cracks (wear a sock to keep tape on) the sweat it creates heals the crack. Then you put cream on. Do this every 2nd day and it WILL heal.

I never had this issue ever in my life until I started working from home and wearing crocs everyday

Honestly using a foot specific razor that cost me less then $10 was the best money I have ever spent on anything in my life. I did a 45 minute heated soak prior and have been moisturizing daily since. You just have to be very careful and take your time.

I put Vick’s vapour rub on an extra large heavy duty medistrip (fabric) and
Put it on the crack/cracks over night
It usually heals and slows the progress of the cracks
The dryness is still a problem but at least the cracks are slowed

I have fissures on the pads of my feet. I moisturize, my feet are soft ( I'm 41 y/o). They just won't go away. I think it is from walking barefoot so much but I have a lot of musculoskeletal issues and have worked hard to keep my feet strong. I recently found toe socks so I wear socks more often (I also have Fibromyalgia so I hated the way my toes felt trapped before toe socks) but they still don't go away.
I'm trying Benzoin Compound with tissue for the second time but I'm not too hopeful as it ends up sticking to the huge bandaid bandages I put on top.
Maybe it's time for a doctor to look at it...?

I asked my podiatrist to cut this off my heel and he refused and tried to sell me the heel balm and socks for $50. I bought my own for less and been a month and still no results.

Put chapstick in the crack and it will be gone in 1-2 weeks. Keep adding more.
