Surprising performance from inexpensive blades.

I can confirm. I use a Const. Grade multi purpose combi blade on the table saw, kinda in between the rip and the cc. Its really works well, although im not using much on hardwood, but mainly pine (or similar) plywood and other compressed boards. Definitely better than the cheap or same price dedicated fine work blades

Depends on your budget. I tell anyone beyond entry level to go for a belt drive. Look for used old Craftsman Contractor saws, then rebuild them. That is what I started with. I love my General but I had that old Craftsman longer. They are quieter and if you drop a 1.5 or 2hp motor on them they plow through anything. Table saw is one thing you can't skimp on because it is the heart of the woodshop. Cut corners here and you will regret it later. Then get a good rip fence.

I have the same blades and they are surprisingly good. I bought them for beater blades but have no qualms about using them anytime.

I have had the same experience with those exact blades. My wife bought them for me for Christmas, and she’s not into woodworking whatsoever so she just bought what was priced to sell. I can get glue ready joints with the 32t all day. Better than my diable 40t which leaves faint saw marks and an annoying red residue. The 60t cuts plywood great also. I’m sure a $100 Forrest or Amana may be better, but for the price these are fantastic.

Curious to know if those blades have carbide tips. I’ve had some bad experi nces with the carbide tips flying off of other blades and so I’m looking for a blade without those tips. Thanks
