Its not the saw. Support the wood properly so it does not pinch the blade use a good blade fit for purpose and a decent battery. If he blade gets coated in pitch clean it.
Mine works great and manages to rip or crosscut pressure treated 2 x 10s without bogging down. Is it as good as the 60 volt worm drive? No but being less than half the weight is an advantage.
When saws sound like this its not the tool its the user.
Just my opinion.

Looked to work fine till the end when the blade got pinched.

That poor dewault deserves a top grade blade and solid cut hold i have seen those little dewault saws up in the air cutting rafter tails and sheet goods theres no way its performing like that

When you don’t know how to use a tool, Blame the tool!😤😩🤣

Yeah that's what happens when you don't cut straight with a circular saw. Good grief.

I can tell you’ve never used a circular saw before. Maybe learn how to use one properly before you just automatically blame the tool.

My saw works fine. That is operator error. You are cutting between 2 horses and pinching your blade. Also looks like a super dull harbor freight blade.

Your using a plywood saw for something real carpenters use worm drives for....buddy that saw is a starter saw....a toss in on the budget kits ...needless to say it's an awesome saw that punches well above its weight

People have does this with DeWalt, and they manage again and again. So either you make it wrong, or your saw is faulty. - eventually it happens all around the globe. In which case have it fixed. So what is the point of this video?

I have exactly the same good blade and flexvolt battery in it, my favourite saw.
The blade will pinch if the timber is not supported properly.

Wood is pinching the blade. I have this saw, stick the 5ah battery in it and set the wood correctly and it cuts like butter

My brushed Harbor Freight 6 and a half cuts through 2x12s like a hot knife through butter, even with a 1.5AH battery. I own some DeWalt Atomics too, but my HF tools are nearly as good, if not better in some cases.

User error and treated lumber is a lot tougher to cut. Apprentice status

You’re getting a thumbs down from me because you are using the saw incorrectly. You’re obviously trying to pinch the blade to make the saw look bad.

What’s up the with the base plate it looks different not magnesium like the other brushless 6 1/2 DeWalts I’ve seen

Seeing a powertool struggling for not using it right is very painful to watch.

Blade replacement I’d assume. Those saws are good for DIY and small to medium low powered 2x cuts here and there. You’d have to change the blade out more often in a construction environment.

You makin stairs ? I’m terrible at that lol

That's because they gave the newer brushless 6 1/2 saw less power than the brushed version smh. 6 1/2 circular saws are not good for much anyways. They are good if your not in a hurry to get allot done
