I recently got my CDL. I don't plan on using it. I got my CDL as a backup just incase if I lose my job or I want to quit in the future, I can then use my CDL to get a job quickly or become an owner operator.

I currently do not drive a commercial vehicle. I don't work for anyone driving a commercial vehicle, and I am not an owner operator

Will they still randomly drug test me? Am I gonna be put into a consortium just for having a CDL eventhough I currently don't drive a commercial vehicle?

I just got dinged on a test by the CBD oil I've been taking for the past 8 months to help with my arthritis. Needless to say, my carrier terminated me and I now have to go through a drug abuse treatment program, and I'm going to have to get by delivering for gig apps for the next 12 months, because that's how long it is until I am once again eligible for a CDL job. All over CBD oil. This is such BS, and I'm strongly considering contacting an attorney to see if there's anything he can do or someone I can sue.
