Most truck drivers only make that per mile while loaded. Unloaded is unpaid time and miles. Still, my son makes 80-120K a year.

Also a Navy Reservist, the health care is very much worth it, saves me $25K a year vs civilian insurance. The guy is a junior enlisted Sailor so his check is a little bit less.

The fact that he has to pay for his health insurance and it’s not given to him is ridiculous. When there’s people that are below the poverty level, they don’t even pay taxes or have a job that walk into a hospital get medical procedures done and it’s all tax write off for the hospital. They don’t pay a dime, our damn healthcare in this country is ridiculous.

There is no dang really, that healthcare cost is a FAMILY plan for tricare called reserve select. It has incredible coverage and is a big reason why people are in the reserves.
