My wife survived 37 years on that road running most of it by herself. I think her grand success and safety was down to just trying to fit in without trying to be noticed one way or the other. She didn't want to be special. She didn't want things done especially for her. She expected nothing and got great friendships and help along the way. My hat's off to the many people who became the protective "road family" for her. Not one of them knows how much I appreciate each one of them.

Awesome...I currently am battling breast cancer stemming from appendix cancer in 2018...my mastectomy is scheduled for September 18th...I have kids and grandchildren, I'm fighting it for them...I don't want to leave them..the survival rate is 7 years if treated by surgery and if it comes back, which it has, then the patient (me, lol) only has 5 years to live and it's back, in my 4th year of battling, going into my 5th year now..keep kicking cancers ass guys...stay safe ❤
