I look at how to deploy multiple relays from a single vessel so that they are equally spaced in their orbits. (KSP 1.12.5)

Thank you for the fun! A bonus using RCS for movement is that your satelite tanks will not be empty becouse you forgot to disable cross-transfer of fuel.

Couldn't figure it out so i checked your channel and you made the video 60 minutes ago wow!
Thanks for helping me learn this beautiful game.

I’m a KSP2 player, and a new KSP1 player, and I never realized how much the stock game teaches you compared to KSP2. I’ve never had information click in my head harder than when I realized everything (orbital period, dV, number of relays) mathematically lining up was convenient after the second relay deploying.

most underrated KSP channel by far, you have my thanks sir

For those who want reliable communications to a lunar pole- consider a Molniya orbit with a very high (loitering) Ap and a low (speedy) Pr. This maximizes the amount of time a satellite loiters above a polar surface target. Fun fact: this is how the Russians were able to keep a constant, hard to detect presence over Washington D.C. 🙂

Great info. Exactly what I needed with just enough nerdiness to understand

I learned that the snapping option can auto-center things for me!

I’ve been playing for years now and am only just learning to do this, your tutorials have been invaluable. Also there is a problem in ksp on console where if you time warp it accelerates the craft idk what’s causing it but it’s ruined my geostationary satellites, I can’t time warp and it’s killing me idk why they chose to abandon ksp on the console like they did.

22:43 Isn't a clockwise target orbit or and a CCW transfer vehicle orbit, or possibly I read the direction of the transfer vehicle wrong?

Great video! Quick question, how do you move the navball to the side like that?

my RCS just isnt working on my last relay.

Edit: My last decoupler i forgot to put the force all the way down (edit 2: the force was all the way down but it still moved the relay when decoupling for some reason even after c/p the relay from above) and it somehow stopped my rcs from working, maybe from damaging the tank or engine itself. got charge, monoprop, signal, RCS on activation toggles correct. just isnt working:( gonna have to get an engineer out to fix it or launch a new one. (edit 2: i used cheats to orbit minmus then did the rest with monoprop on a fresh relay)

Edit 2 After experimenting i realised the issue. @ 12:28 where you copy paste that first relay whenever i did this that bottom relay rcs would not work. I had to delete the bottom relay and copy the second one up and place that at the bottom. seemed to fix the issue for me. whichever relay i initially placed, if i alt /LMB (copy) it, it would now kill that relay's rcs. Sometimes this game just doesnt make sense lol.

Last note mike i am obsessed with this game and this playlist and your content on it is nothing but superb. hope to see more of you as i lose more of my life to this game lol

This is all very cool and all but I’m just gonna go with the easier tried and true method of spinning wildly and launching off hundreds of relay satellites
