I own a gen 3 Hayabusa. It is my 6th Hayabusa, and by far the most usable. It's about way more than just speed. These bikes are incredibly comfortable, supremely stable at speed, and pretty frugal too (I get 50mpg on a run). The introduction of cruise control makes it way easier on a long run, and the plethora of electric wizardry means you can tailor the bike to suit your individual needs. What a machine.

If you love motorcycles you have to love the Busa. Fast, comfortable, reliable and did I forget to mention, awesome.

Suzuki did make a naked Hayabusa. It’s called the B-King. Unfortunately it didn’t sell well at all here in the States. Also the 2023 Hayabusa weighs in at 582 pounds with a full tank of gas, so you’re off by about 100 pounds. Yeah she’s a heavy girl but she moves good. You can drop about 40 pounds or a little more by doing a full exhaust and you can drop another 10ish pounds by doing a battery upgrade. There are a few other things you can do to drop a little more weight but those two are probably the easiest and biggest improvements.

I bought a new 2023 black just like this. Took it on a little 130mi ride yesterday morning before it got hot (AR is pretty humid right now). so fun getting out on the road and clearing the head !

Love your youthful enthusiasm toward the Gen 3 Busa. Unfortunately ao many young riders like yourself walk right past a Busa cause of its overall size and looks. If only all of them had a chance to take one out and run one through its paces. I bet a majority of them would have a different view of them. I just put a deposit on a 2024 which I should take delivery of in Decemeber sometime. I had one new in 2000 and I have come full circle. Coming off my Triumph Speed Triple 1200rr is going to be so relaxing and a rush at the same time. Great video, well done.

@hardcity raindrops

I’m 50 now, have ridden a 250, a 600, and now ride a 2021 Ninja 1000SX for its power, sporty looks, and “bad back” comfort.

I know it’s no Busa (I’m not out for speed records or ego battles) and the Ninja is a great bike, has awesome comforts and I can be happy with it for a long time, but I love what I’ve heard about the Busa (especially Gen 3’s).

You mentioned how the Suzuki is not a “track” bike but better as long, comfortable tourer, so I have two questions for you.

First, how do you feel the Hayabusa would work as a daily ride, in city traffic or short trips around town?

Secondly, not knowing anyone like you so kind to let me borrow their Hayabusa, and not finding any comparisons online between these two “sport tourers” (probably simply due to the legend of the Hayabusa), I wonder if you’ve had a chance to ride a 1000SX, or if not, and could get your hands on one for a test ride, could you make a comparison? (I’m not in Texas, but hit me up if you’re ever in Utah and I’ll let you ride mine).

Hi man,
It seems to me that you took a huge and great pleasure with the Busa.
I own one since two years (the model black/orange 2022). Before that, I was driving a Yamaha R1 full, Colors black/gold model 2009 which for me is the best of all the Yamaha R1. And before that I own a Suzuki GsxR 750 k5.
All those Motorcycles are hapiness machines. But the only one which is a therapy for hapiness and smile is the BUSA!!!!
Now that you've tried it, you know what I'm talking about. I hope you’ll buy yours dude…😉

Thx for the video!
Busa and the rest of those hypers like zx14r and BlackBird can be compared to sport bikes very easily: on a superbike you enjoy reaching above 10k rpm, acceleration and screaming engine. On hyper bike you enjoy every moment no matter what rpm and gear you're in, you just twist the throttle and smile because it rips right away! 👏

A Alien Head Full Exhaust System Really Wakes it Up The Gen 3 … .. Also Flash & Tone, Some Shorter Stacks, and a Race Filter that’s ALL You Need 🔥🔥

I owned 2 Hayabusas, 2004, 2008, the later being 4-2-1 exhaust and dyno tuned, was my favorite. I sold it for a cruiser (M109r) which was a horrible experience. I just got back into riding, and my ability to ride a Hayabusa being 6’4” and 50 sadly disappointed me. Right next to the busa was a zx14. The ZX14r is much more comfortable, and oddly enough, quicker than my busa. I think the only reason is the increase displacement and my 260lb frame. I give all the probs for anyone that is shorter side to grab a busa. It’s amazing, as much as my ZX14r. My busa saw 191. That was it. Anyone buying one needs to do the 4-2-1 exhaust and ship out the for the programming. The issue with theses bikes is the emissions are to stringent and runs too hot.

This bike, this bike, this bike - I love it too. I test ride one last year and since then I’ve been kicking myself that all these years I’ve never ridden one. This year or next year latest I’ll have one. Planning UK to South France, then Sardinia, then Sicily, then South Italy and back home - can’t wait. Even if I have to whack it on my credit card then sell it after my journey …
