I had one of the original copper and silver ones back when they first came out in 1999 and I found that one really smooth and much nicer to ride than the TL1000R I had before. When I saw that they had brought it back with a 2021 spec and at £16.5k I must admit that I'm tempted, its a toss-up between this, the ZH2, H2 SX SE or Triumph speed triple 1200 RS all quite different I know so I'll have to get to the dealers to try them.
As to what it's for.... mmm when I have the same question of my 2020 Rocket 3R, that's in a category all its own and I think the Hayabusa and its history is just one of those bikes that is the same. So maybe two odd balls in the same garage would go well together and roll on back to 1999 :-)

Love it, ex Blackbird owner, now in my 60's and not sharp enough for that sort of crazy anymore, Tracer 900 enough for me now but fuck I'd like this bike in my garage.

Just love what they did with gen 3. Really smart, and it's still undeniably a Hayabusa. A perfect candidate for riser bars, dropped pegs and some nice luggage. A longer-range jet for the tarmac. Awesome.

This bike is for the Guy who is suffering a sever mid life crisis. They say the answer is not at the bottom of a bottle, and they are correct. The answer is on the seat of a Hayabusa. People this bike IS the answer, it is the answer to all your problems. This bike will make you smile, giggle like a teenager on weed and laugh like you have never laughed before. Trust me, the Hayabusa is the answer, it;s the answer to everything the universe can throw at you.

Great looking bike that, has a presence that even makes non bike people stop & stare in awe of it

The ‘waggle’ on the grip is there by design; it’s manufacturers specification so the throttle isn’t instant the moment you twist.

Great work Chopsie - can't wait to have a go on one of these puppies myself....love the colour scheme on this and the analogue clocks (how sad am I that those are the things I like most about the new 'Busa!!!)....lovely video mate.

What they made is perfect. They perfected what they had instead of throwing everything new without knowing how durable it can be.

Beautiful bike, stunning. Great, insightful review. I love love love the analog instrument cluster AND all the newest electronics at the same time. This bike actually makes sense. A class of its own, as you said.

The production quality of your vids is amazing! It’s like you’re filming and recording sounds with imax cameras!

"There's plenty to grip onto"- that's what she said. No interest in the runway ('cuz I haven't got a runway) bits, but your road talk was awesome, full of useful observation.

My dad had an original busa back in 99 which I rode pillion. Scared and excited me in equal measures. Today the busa doesn't really make sense and to be fair technologically it's a little disappointing, but we should all be grateful that in this day and age bikes like this still exist!!

I am a child of 67 years old! Years ago I beat every GS 1000 with my Honda CBX 1000! 😎 Now 43 years later I would like to walk over to the Hayabusa 21 and feel it flutter on my cadence... It has been ordered before July 😢 it will be a white, so white as my face when HE flies with me... You can count on that! Great video! Thanks👍

When the bike is so good, it doesn’t need to be refreshed every year with new designs, and this is the best example of that.

I'm 50 and I only rode adventure bikes, for 30+ years. Touring on a sport bike is too much for my untrained wrists. But this bike has a point for just commuting, I think I can do 1h on it. Except I'm considering S1000RR as well. Which one would be better to split lanes, move fast (torque), be comfy, repel rain, last longer and be an overall winner, would be a nice movie to produce 🙂

Fantastic video and great first impressions. I must say I also was never a fan of the styling, but this version is stunning.
