I don't know. But I know that its mod is absolutely legendary. PLAY IT!

So let me get this straight - not only did the Dev decide to take every standard feature in CK3 and either injected it with superhero steroids so it's even crazier or added entirely new features on top of it or sometimes both AT THE SAME TIME? Not only that but he also decided to fucking port Darkest Dungeon INTO THE GAME with its own unique UI?

For those that don't know, The Way of Kings is the first book in the Stormlight Archive series by Brandon Sanderson. It's a 10 book Epic Fantasy series (4 books are out currently) taking place on the continent of Roshar.

If you enjoy complex magic systems and well-written characters, I highly recommend reading the series.

Not to mention that it is part of an even greater fantasy series called the Cosmere, which encompasses various different planets which are all within the same galaxy and all have different magic systems.

You can also turn the difficulty all the way up to "double stupid" which slams you with so many penalties you won't even be able to get out of bed in the morning. And, if you're feeling particularly sadistic, you can then go through and try to claim enough shardic victories to claim the true ending on double stupid, and earn a place in the hall of fame in the mods official discord!

I've never been interested in crusader kings, but as a huge Stormlight fan this is really making me want to try it. There's so much more detail here than I'd expect from a mod, they even have books written in women's script.

Read the books, because the books are awesome. The Spren artifacts are basically the fantasy equivalent of lightsabers and power armor.
