My understanding is somewhat different. Your Starbucks and Netflix examples seem more like objectives in terms of strategic direction. e.g. To open 2000 stores. The strategy would encompass the high-level 'how' we are going to achieve those starregies. Finally, the tactics would be the nuts and bolts attached to the how - the finer more specific, time-bound details. Am I wrong?
