I’m 17 man. Was just whacking the yard and cleaning up behind our fence lines in some overgrown ditches. when i tell ya i was being stupid not wearing eye protection. i got a little rock or some moss or some yucky thing in my eye and i had to pick it out. painful.

Great trimmer 😁 never take the guard off it also slows the rpm 2 taps of the trimmer head drops the rpm from 10000 to 5500 or so nice video Josh

Well funny story I lost my 240r in a devoice and now I was able to get a 131r and I just don't feel it's anything close to the 240r but that is all I could afford since the price of all went up was the 131 a bad choice it was the most expensive one I could get at the time?

I bought a used FS 240 and the head does not have a screw to remove to grease the gear box. Seller says he never replaced the head. Do you know if early editions were missing this and if so, to grease them?

I paid 750.00 plus string and tax 813.00
It's a great trimmer but mine has the bicycle handle not the R, just FS 240

Hey Carl, great video man. Is it normal for the stihl brush blade to have a slight delay in spinning? Brand new FS240R with stihl brush blade. Also, with the standard line that comes with, will the line spin right away when trigger is pressed? First time using the machine
