After many years in the industry, Carl Levien decided it was time to go out on his own. The day came, April 1, 1990, when Carl and Beth Levien officially opened Carl’s Mower & Saw. With a clear goal to provide a higher level of service to Whatcom County, they opened their doors and started building a loyal following of customers. They discovered customers were refreshed by the quality of service available to them. Over the past 30 years we have continued to refine our services and provide the top equipment in the industry.

Just picked mine up this week. Very hard to get one of these since very few dealers stock them and have an undetermined time of back orders for delivery. I had to drive several states away to pick mine up.

Ordered mine and it just came in. Took a few months to get, but buy once cry once is my theory. Should last me for many years to come. Use it for clearing trails on hunting property and maintenence of the trails. Underbrush clearing for the benefits of the trees on my land and what not. This thing is an absolute beast. Was curious of the blade is able to be filed like a chain on a saw?

Hi Motomix Josh great video as always might be worth you pointing out that the larger brushcutters & clearing saws have to have the correct guard for the same head metal blade wont fit with a nylon head fitted and vice versa etc keep up the good work

I'm looking to clear a lot of brush, saplings, and deadfall from a ~12 acre wooded area. It's pretty dense with brush and fallen trees around 4-8 inches thick. Wondering if something like this would be ideal to clear everything out in sections or if its overkill? Was looking at the Echo 410U as an alternative - seems like that would be cheaper and better for just maintaining some trails but I don't know if it would handle larger areas and trees...

Hello,
Can you mount a trimmer head on this cutter and will it support a .170" gauge? Thanks

Etahnol free fuel is a must but you can buy 4 cycle fuel and mix yourself to be 200% sure its got 50:1 mix. i never trust caned fuel the span is 1.7% to 2% you never know. i work on a place that sells canned fuel on bulk and the customer got there chansaw scored up even thugh its in the span of 1.7 - 2 % so i dont trut anyone. i mix myself and sell and the customer rather buy true me then the dealer they say its like rocket fuel.
