Hard to believe a year of owning the Breville Barista Express has flown by so quickly. This machine has been my daily workhouse and I've absolutely loved having it on my bar. It has taken my espresso to the next level but it's not without a few cons. Do I regret buying my Breville Barista Express? Is this my forever espresso machine? Great video for those looking at one. A couple of quick corrections though. One is that it actually does have brew temperature control (unlike the Bambino or Bambino Plus unfortunately). And two, it's not a songle boiler machine as it doesn't have any but rather a single ThermoBlock, which while slower than newer generation ThermoCoil, is less finicky about getting blocked and does heat much faster than a traditional boiler machine. Keep up the great work!

I learned this maybe about a month ago but if you're serious about taking your coffee that your next level you will spray your coffee beans with a little bit of water before you grind them. I think it makes a lot more sense to just do single or double batches in other words only uses me beans as you think you'll use. This keeps the freshness up. Also you want to spritz the coffee beans because it negates static. Your coffee beans will grind better and not shoot everywhere.

I love mine! I bought it based on your recommendation and I could not be happier!!!! I was using Nespresso which was awful. Funny, once you dial in this machine you will notice how much better it is than your local coffee shop.
