There is a preorder and trade-in deals mostly catered for US Pixel users. It's a great time to upgrade for them. For anybody else just wait for Black Friday sale because the prices are absurd

While the 9 Pro looks tempting, I can't justify the extra $200 for a few more niceties over the regular 9. I do wish Google would've ditched the 128GB model on the Pro's. Just offer 256GB, 512GB and 1TB on the Pro's.

My pixel 8 pro lasts almost 2 days on a full charge. Mostly 1.5. I go to bed with 40-50% left.
Google gave me 699 trade in to go to the smaller 9 pro (finally, a small pro). Heck yeah.

Thanks for adding that the phones didn’t get hot in use, although these devices will have only been on Wi-Fi, not mobile data .. so we still need to wait and see how that new modem behaves!

What's the charging brick capacity? Is it just the 25w like earlier?

While not a fan of the prices due to the limited storage... The trade in values are decent ($540 for 7Pro), and the additional $200-$350 store credit make this a buy now for me.

I know you get decent sells as we near Black Friday, but i doubt the trade ins will remain this high and i doubt the credits will be there...
