I Bought a Klon off Wish

The klon is way over hyped but it does a thing or two very well. But the prices are absurd. I personally don’t care for them with the gain cranked. But in low gain settings they can fatten a thin guitar in a cool way. I think of them as a very colored / Eq’d boost pedal.

I’m pretty sure you can dial them in pretty close to each other but the dials won’t be in the same location.

I bought the wish klon and its as advertised. But i get better results using a tc electronics hypergravity

As a gearhead/tech I would compare the Wish version to using the bridge pickup on a guitar as opposed to the neck pickup sound, it's a resistance/capacitance difference. A little too bright for my taste but for something from Wish I'm surprised it worked at all.
