Calling the UI cluttered when the entire point of the browser is to customize makes no sense. My Vivaldi browser looks almost exactly like chrome with no clutter.

lol it's funny hearing this dude claim that Vivaldi looks dated. I just downloaded it for the first time an hour ago and it doesn't look dated to me. I've been using browsers since the 90s - they all kinda look the same nowadays - which is to say they don't look dated. And if some aspect of it looks dated.. just customize it.

You didn't test the integrated mail, calendar, contacts???
How many browsers do you know with an integrated mail client? One that covers all needs - from multiple accounts, with a unified inbox, to Google calendar and contacts. That is the really revolutionary innovation and I can bet that all browsers will follow that path.
It is simply too convenient to have them in one application, as tabs and sidebars.
After a few hours, you may find yourself being in the right place.

People don't realize how GOOD old UI was. Completely clear what was what. Simplification is great, but it's gone to the point where things are unclear. White space is vital, but design has gotten to the point that it wastes space. We have infinite space, but seeing more at once is helpful. Really bad design language in modern design. Old design could be VERY much improved upon. It just hasn't been. Options have been dumbed down so that even regular customization, and regular information has been obscured. Vivaldi may go overboard, but it's in a sea of options that don't go far enough. Probably a relic of smartphones, that make sense for smartphones, but not for the productivity of a desktop. Boggles the mind sometime.

Workspaces IS usefull. Having access to trading platforms, resources, research, information in an uncluttered manner is just awesome. workplaces for work, school, shopping, news, socials osv.. how can that not be usefull?

I just changed to Vivaldi since it seems can be the closest thing to safari. Im on a Macmini 2012 catalina os and a lot of new browsers arent compatible at this point. Opera is great, but i found out lil bit buggy specially when reopening from start. Ill come back few weeks later for an update

The only thing missing in Vivaldi is vertical tab panel auto-hide like in Edge. We've been asking for that for years but they don't listen.

I just need a search that works. Went on Google, looked up Dabke and it turned Dabke into the word baby. What is going on with Google?
