The one thing ALL Godfather fans agree on, is that we needed more of Vito Corleone, his character was fascinating and full of depth and complexity. He was played brilliantly by Marlon Brando and Robert DeNiro, 2 iconic actors. Yes in Godfather 2, we did get to experience watching a small sample of his rise, however, they didnโ€™t give us the full picture of how he actually managed to rise to power. Thatโ€™s why in this series of videos we are trying to bring you the spectacular details and events that made Vito who he was, the powerful, charismatic, intelligent mafia Don that managed to be both feared and loved. We analysed every available detail that the creator of this impeccable world, Mario Puzo, has provided through his novels and some hidden facts from the iconic films.

What Brando can do with a character is amazing. When he was sharing screen time my eyes were always on him.

"Do not mistake my kindness as weakness." - Capone.

Seems the Don had taken that to heart.

I read the Book. It was a very detailed explanation of who exactly Don Vito Corleone was. The Book was so much better than the Movie. Most wont take the time to read it. Books are the real story...

There is one thing that I observed in many films: Where ever you go your past follows you

The audiobook to The Godfather is right here on YT for free. I read the book many years ago, but I listened to the audiobook here recently, damn good listening for sure. The story of the don was more flushed out and....the pure horror of Luca Brazi was on some next level shyt.

I really hope they make a movie from The Family Corleone (The Godfather prequel). The Luca Brasi storyline alone would make it worth it.

I wish netflix makes a series of Don carleone rise. That would be a blast.

I always thought Sonny's story was glossed over too much in the movie plus Luca Brasi's character was way more deep and dark than the movie showed. There are certainly enough stories for several movies but that'll never happen.

I like how Vito isnโ€™t just someone who is giving orders to kill and that he would gladly do it himself with no hesitation.

Tomassino was not paralyzed. He was shot in the leg by a shotgun that damaged his leg so badly that he would walk with a cane until he reached old age where he was too weak to walk with a cane and was moved around in a wheelchair. You can see Tomassino walking with a cane in the first Godfather movie.
