How to update Gigabyte motherboard BIOS

In this video, I update the BIOS in my Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite motherboard. This method should work with other Gigabyte motherboards as well.

Many people talk about updating the BIOS. My motherboard came Rev 1.2. Why should I update the BIOS? And what version of BIOS do you recommend? Should it always be the last one available?
My processor is the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8 core 16 thread unlocked desktop processor. Should I update it for that? Thank you

Thanks for the video. My monitor would turn black and act as if the computer was off somtimes when i was playing a game and updating the bios fixed that. Didnt realize i needed to update my bios and it was more than 2 years old

do you unplug the usb and put in the bios slot in the back? or can it stay where it is when i copied the files?

Thanks for mentioning fat32 being needed, couldn't figure out why my USB wasn't being read in the bios
