Before my first...Virgin Cruise...I watched your videos about luggage tags and learned the same. I still ordered the long thin tags...on the morning before going to port I had typed out our LAST NAME, Date of cruise, Ship name and cabin number. As the porter grabbed our bags to put his stickers on them, he thanked me for having done that because he could read the correct info to put on the tag versus listening thru a crowd of people plus one cruiser had to go to Sailor Services to find their bag because the porter scribbled their number and it was hard for anyone to read. So I will continue to do that. ❤

Note--you can go to any activity on VV wearing anything you wish within a minimal level of decency. For instance, you can go to the PJ party wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Yes, Scarlet Night request is something red. That can be a red headband, red hankie in a shirt pocket, red ball gown, dress, tux, devil costume, or even your red wristband. More than any other line, VV is a "no worries, no critiques" line.

Hi Ilana. Having spent 28 nights on Virgin ships in the last 6 months, all I can say is you nailed it! One additional thing you might want to bring is Paxlovid, in case anyone in your party gets COVID. Recently the medical center on the ship had only one dose in stock and was unable to provide it to patients who qualified to receive it under CDC guidelines.

Great video! I'm going on my first cruise, Celebrity 7-day, in February. Due to weather considerations & possible flight delays I'm planning on only taking a carry-on & a personal item on the plane. Can you do a video on dresses that pack well/compression packing? We are having concerts & cabaret-type events every evening and I'm wanting to dress up, like I would at home.

As always, a helpful presentation! Regarding the luggage tags, the tag placed on your bag/s when you arrive is the same tag you use when you disembark--if you are not carrying your luggage off the ship. Maybe other lines do this, also, but I've not experienced this on Carnival, NCL, or MSC.
