We asked three well-travelled men to share their wisdom on how to pack for a business trip.

MR PORTER meets Mr Duncan Ellis, company director of Scruffy Bird Management; Mr Seamus Hoar, founder of Hoar Marshall; and Mr Götz Offergeld, founder of Fräulein magazine, in this short guide to travelling lightly. Use their simple tips and tricks to help streamline your packing process.

Steps:
1. Understand what you're going to be doing at your destination, what the weather will be like and who you'll be seeing
2. Pack your shoes first
3. Place your shoes inside a dustbag
4. Roll items, don't fold
5. Take versatile items that can be dressed up or down
6. Roll your ties up inside your shoes to save space
7. Have your suits laundered and pressed upon arrival
8. Pack the night before you travel

Like some people say, the first can never be topped. And in my opinion, this how I pack episode is the best compared to all of the one's that were produced after this. I believe this one was nicer because you guys featured actual business men who travel rather than featuring mr porter staff. Actually rolling stuff is the best method to save space, also used by military to save as much space as they can in their backpacks.

The list is a very good idea. Even before packing, get your wardrobe, mix and match like Richard Gere did in American Gigolo, then try to remember what tie goes with what shirt and suit, then make sure you have your Shoes but if you can cover them with a Bag. That way you know what you will wear on certain days Also bring a Sponge to keep the shoes nice and clean. Also make sure that you have your Bag with your Personal Toiletries, ie Cologne, Razor, Shaving Cream, Toothbrush, Toothpaste. I remember going to a Trade Show and they were giving out Gilette Razor Kids and I got one for My Father and he loved it (RIP).
