Brings lots of $1s, $5s, $10s. In fact, at the end of your cruise on the last sea day, I carry $5s and $10s and maybe one $20 in my wrist bag. I gift those certain very attentive crew members with money in their hands and thank them for their service and care personally. This is over the regular gratuity we always pay. I have heard that they get off to go to Walmart and come back with lots of personal stuff. This is my way of helping them be more comfortable while away from home for so many months.

8 days from my first cruise. I want to thank you for all your tips. I have binge watched for about 10 days now, and Amazon is loving me. Not sure how I would have survived this part without these videos. Going Solo, so wanted to be prepared.

I always take a clear over the door hanging shoe organizer to put small cosmetics, personal items, grooming utensils, etc, in so they don't take up counter space.

Since luggage often doesn't get to the cabin early enough, I always wear a comfortable sundress or shift on embarkation day. That way I go to dinner feeling more put together, if I don't have time to change, and also cuts down on packing an extra outfit.

I just got back from my first cruise and your tips were so helpful. We would have been very unprepared without your videos. My husband and I are now hooked on cruises and I’m already checking for deals.

I see Ginger candy is listed for seasickness. I find that $0.99 worth of raw ginger from the grocery store works just as good. A single edged razor blade lets you slice off paper thin slices that you suck on for a few minutes then chew up and swallow. That is the only thing I've found that works for me.

What I want to say is that I spent less than $ 100 from the fake LV I bought from a aunt LYXBAGS . The quality is very good. I spent four years on the plane, the bus, and anywhere. As a rag. I specially smelled the bag and compared the stitching color. This is the most authentic I have ever seen. To this day, this bag is still very strong. Although it has been abused, the material is still great.

I would definitely say a bathing suit and/or change of clothes is helpful. On my first cruise I flew to the port on embarkation day. It took forever to get my luggage delivered. At the sail away party I was still dressed on a hot Florida afternoon in the same long sleeve shirt and long pants I had been wearing since 4AM that morning. I watched people who were better prepared splash in the pool. I learned my lesson. The next time I had to fly on embarkation day I had a suit and a sundress with me.

Meeting your Room Stewards on Day 1: We put a small paper bag on our bed with our Room Stewards names on it (from their card) when we went to dinner on the first night. It had items for 2: packages of spicy nuts and wrapped candies. Yes, we did get these things before we embarked the ship. We have learned over the years that Indonesian and Philippine crew members like hot/spicy foods! Also on the last sea day, we have a printed message that I hand write a personal message and cash for them.

Our last cruise embarkation was delayed for hours due to high winds. We were starving but health department regulations prohibited the cruise line from providing food in the terminal. Bring snacks!!

For those who don't go to the pool, and for the waiting area, something to read, card games, and small video games might help make the time go by faster.

I enjoy your videos I’ve learned so much. I would never bring expensive jewelry on vacation. I don’t know why people just don’t leave that kind of stuff at home

We took my 80 year old mother with us on a Hawaiian. Raise with NCL. She’s a snacker and gets hangry fast! Saved the day with chewy granola bars and her fav almond joy snack size bars!

For taking with or bringing home bottles of alcohol/wine I always use “Wine Wings”. They go by many different names but all work well and a must have when traveling.
