A far-right party, the Alternative for Germany or the AfD, has made gains in German state elections in Saxony and Brandenburg, at the expense of Chancellor Angela Merkel's party and her coalition partner.
Analysts say it highlights the growing political gap between East and West Germany and concerns about the immigration influx.
And its rise weakens the ability of the ruling coalition to govern.
Al Jazeera's Dominic Kane reports from Potsdam in Brandenburg.

The hypocrisy of europeans is astounding. These are the very same germans who'd be totally against the eviction of german farmers (who own 90% of the agricultural land) in Namibia.

Who knows: what was the real reason for Angela Merkel to settle 1 mln of arabians and blacks in Germany? What for? The economical reason is totally absent.

Omg its not far right anything. people tolerated to much until as usual it retracts. its normal. we all are still just as liberial as we were last year.
The difference is after goving the left decades theuve failed the people.the local country men. This is a good time for country building and looking closer to the great cultrual moral values that built the western nations. cant blame everyine for not trying new direction .
The thing is when you weigh a small gain at the expense of happiness it doesnt addd up. when you have nothing we all still have each other and family . This is just us becoming wise just in time before its to late.
