could dysfunction of this joint cause tingling or numbness sensation on the side of the face.. temple down to chin? no paralysis but a sensation ?

Hi Rachel! I recently got a CEREC crown on my molar (the one next to the premolar) and after less than 2 days, I started developing all the classic symptoms of TMJ. Went to the dentist and he was convinced that it's all mental and psychological. I couldn't sleep for days. What could I do?

Sometimes when i yawn i feel my jaw gets stuck for a minute i also feel a pop on the sides of my jaw could this be the reason?
