People were giving him flak for breaking down after not winning. People don't understand that there is both a culture and deep connection people can get to their arts. He wasn't upset that he lost, he was upset because he felt like he personally failed him and loved ones. But the incredible support he received from the community, fellow chefs, and the masterchefs have helped him continue to push his craft to higher and higher limits. 100% he is the dessert king, and it is well deserved.
