Eric's "You're Alvin Leung, you're a chef, you're an engineer, and you're living my dream, " and the cut to him wearing the apron with the doors dramatically opening and the music just all gave me goosebumps. By far one of my favorite MasterChef Canada moments by a longshot.

Everyone is talking about Eric, but here i almost cried seeing David's happy family and his genuine nature

Eric and Alvin's interactions through Season 1 were great. It was like a student learning from the master and Alvin was in his corner all the way trying to see if he had what it took. Considering they're business partners now, it turned out really well.

I think that when Eric told Alvin "you're a chef, and engineer, YOU ARE LIVING MY DREAM" that was it, Alvin was sold, he saw himself in Eric and that's why he gave him the opportunity to bee in master chef and in his restaurant

David seems so kind and genuine. I just loved seeing his happiness and his love for his family. I’m so happy he won.

Honestly Eric's first dish really didn't seem so impressive, so for him to get to the title and where he is now (partnering with Alvin), really does show how much hes learned and developed
