Yamaha FZ07 vs Kawasaki Ninja 636 (Drag Race) !!!

I wanted to see which one is faster, my 2015 Yamaha FZ07 or my friend's 2016 Kawasaki ZX6R 636. I knew a ZX6R has more power at high RPMS, but the FZ07 feels much more powerful off the line... I leaned forward on purpose so the front wheel doesn't go up. Skip to 5:00 for the full race.

The guy on the 636 is not riding like he’s in a race. I’m not saying the fz07 is slow, I own both bikes, and the 636 is worlds faster.

I'd say it sounds like a chopper more than a V8 and this is coming from someone that rides a fz07 with m4 exhaust

its a v-twin sound the firing order is the same as a 90 degree v or L twin

Love the bike and definitely sounds good but I wouldn't say it sounds like a V8 at all. It sounds like a parallel twin just like it is

Learn how to clutch shift faster and with 2 fingers or 1 finger to keep control over the handlebars. You lose 0.5-1 second with those slow shifts. When you race you can do clutchless upshifts (look up a video on how to do them). After that that Ninja has no chance to you until like 90 mph zone. I beat a GSX-6 with my MT easily cuz I shift very fast (also have a quickshifter) ;P
