About time. That's why I sent T-Mobile's iPhone 15 Pro Max back and I bought the iPhone 15 Pro Max 1TB unlocked on eBay for $1200. Not a single problem yet. T-Mobile wanted to give me $5XX upfront to cover my bill for 3 months and then apply the smaller amount of the $830 credit ($289 or something like that) across 24 months. I complained to so many supervisors at T-Mobile about how stupid that policy was for consumers and the consumer should be allowed to choose between the two options. One CSR told me that she will send in my complaint and that this may change in the future. She was right. T-Mobile is implementing this change. I told her that I did not want to be stuck with a high bill for two years. Apply the full credit across two years. Thank God for this change.

This will save the pain points of explaining to the customers why T-Mobile doesn’t give them the full discount towards the phone. 90% of my customers hated that one time bill credit and would prefer to get all the trade in towards the phone.

They make you pay the tax’s because it’s easier to have a consistent eip cost because tax’s are not the same in all the different states from .04% to 10.9%

By paying the tax’s the eip for accessories is the same cost nationwide and less chances of having billing errors in dividing the full cost plus tax’s for 12 or 24 months

Plus do they still require that you put 50% down on accessories over $100.00 ?

Thank god that full trade in credit goes to the device I hated when the give part bill credit and part device eip credit making your eip payment cost more now you get the full device eip credit will keep device payment lower and your over all bill lower

My complains about this worked and am guessing am not the person who want the full trade value go to the device and not a one time bill credit

The only way in the pass to get full device eip credit was the phone would have to be instore and not ordered to request the full trade in value goes to the eip credits thank god for this change that made it difficult when the store is run low on inventory or preorders because the phone is not in house we have to give you 2 different credits for your eip credit 😅 but for the same total
