- Launch the T-Mobile app from your mobile device and tap "Get a T-Mobile ID" (0:20)
- Enter the required info and when you're finished, tap "Sign me up" (0:29)
- If you are asked to verify your phone, the code will be sent to you by text message. Enter the code from the text message in the app. (0:36)

It recognizes my phone number as a Metro PC user and tells me to login through My Metro PC account. Unable to create account through T-Mobile.

I've gone through the steps to reduce my phone plan multiple attempts,
yet when I get to the
enter-PIN -screen
it keeps telling me it's wrong
yet IT'S ASKING ME to CREATE one
also: i NEVER setup a digit PIN ever
so T-Mobile can't tell me my PIN digits are wrong when I NEVER CREATED a PIN to begin with!

I had to enter a number sent to my email address, then one sent to my phone and was then asked to enter a PIN chosen "in store" (I've never been in a T-Mobile store in my life). I signed up on line and entered a 6-digit PIN at that time, but it supposedly didn't match their records. Who knows what might have come next? T-Mobile apparently wants to make an ID impossible to get. The barriers they have constructed (and don't explain in sufficient detail anywhere) seem insurmountable. If they are going to be this difficult to deal with, maybe I should reconsider signing up with them and move my account to a different carrier.

Does not match what I see in the app... all the apps says it needs is a phone number... and then it says something went wrong... although it did try to send me to Sprint... BTW i'm a Verizon customer who just switched to TM
