I have to admit, this was me towards my husband. I wanted him to change immediately so he could stop sinning against me. And God has revealed how obsessed I was with my husband’s salvation that I forgot about my own. He’s working on my heart, I’m focused on my own walk rather than my husband’s. It was very eye opening but it feels amazing to be corrected by my loving Father.

I love this. Let's celebrate everyone stepping onto the path to God; no matter where they are in the path. Celebrate progress unto perfection.

I love this approach, the lord finds us and accepts us where we're at while helping us find salvation

🙌🏽 God showed me the process is equivalent to a DETOX! It takes time to flush out the old life, habits and thoughts and replace with Kingdom living. 🙋🏽‍♀️

Sir, I could cry. I never thought about this, with me needing to change and being so disappointed in my change not being instantaneous. This was grace for me, sir, God speaking through you to me. I've been going through a period of great doubt and I needed to hear this. I'm still showing up to church. I'm still showing up to reading the scripture. I'm still showing up to prayer. It's a process.

This was me this past year. Attending Celebrate Recovery for alcohol (drank daily for 8 years) and it took me 6 months of meetings to finally quit but God was working on my heart every single day and I kept showing up. 68 days sober and never going back. All glory to Jesus, it’s truly a miracle I went a single day without drinking let alone 68. Transformation absolutely takes time and I’d argue it never really ends, because we need to keep giving things to God as they crop up in our journey.

I am a pastors kid and grew up in church my whole life. I have seen some people get saved and change drastically but then see some struggle for a long time before you see a change but I still believe both are saved. I have heard people say about the one who struggles “I don’t think they ever really got saved because I don’t see any big changes” but yet they have been saved for years and live a roller coaster christian life. Everyone is different and everyone has different struggles.

I love this. Most church feeds us condemnation instead of love and support. Most of us already condemned ourselves.❤🙏🏽

I feel this man! I came back to Christ 2 years ago, and it still took me a little over a year and hard work to change my heart and mind about drinking. I am still working on myself up to this day. I thank God that he's been merciful and faithful in his promises to this day.

When God found me i felt pressure to do this, say this, act this way, pronounce this. And i said to myself NO i won't let worldly things influence my connection with God. Its a crazy friendship that i still am in awe of. I did not believe in God, now hes woven into my life, and the benefits compound every day ✨✨✨

THIS IS SO TRUE!!!! BUILDING A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AND ALLOWING HIM TO TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE TAKES TIME BUT THE BLESSING THE REAL TESTIMONY IS THAT THE INDIVIDUAL IS TRYING EACH DAY. I AM A FATHER AND HUSBAND, I AM BROKEN AND HURTING BUT I'M STILL PRAYING AND SEEKING GOD, NOT HEALED BUT I'M TRUSTING HIM 🙏🏿❤️💪🏿

Yes, YES!!! We are not allowed to go Through the Process! It takes time to change from the inside out. But no one Talks about THAT Part. They just want you to change immediately. The age/era of Facebook and Social media is on us so hard, everything has to happen NOW... Patience and endurance are not supported anymore. Anywhere, by anyone. We all think, " something must be wrong with me. Why aren't I getting better?" It's only been a week. A very dear friend once told me, "It took you years to get this bad. It will take years to get back to where you need to be." I have forgotten his words. Thanks for THIS reminder! Oh Bless you, sir! Blessings, Bo 🐻 Bear!! I hear you now.

Just had this conversation with a friend. I just couldn't do church folk anymore. They are more interested in conforming everyone to their church culture and for everyone to be delivered on their time schedule so they or their church leader can get the praise. Look at these great disciples.

God starts from the inside out we look at their outside their habits. They never get to fall in love with Jesus and develop. The rest will fall off over time some things a long time. Trust God's process not man's

Let's not blame others for the lies we choose to tell rather than be honest. Lying is a personal choice. Sn it is a process and ppl in church need to learn to worry about their own sin and stop harping on others bc we have all fallen short of the glory of God.

Wow, so true, God is good, time is Gods timing not ours, I pray for anyone with addiction , mine is food stress eating, people don't go to church because of judgemental behaviours of some people, the main thing is keep our Jesus in his eyes , take the plank out of our own eye, before we look at each other, he without sin cast the first stone, Jesus doesn't laugh at people's struggles, Amen 💜💙💚💛
